TBS Colourglide Lip colour

Hey
I am going to do a lipstick review today. This lipstick is called Colourglide Lip Colour by The Body Shop. I have it in shade 06- Clover Pink. Its a very muted soft pink which kind of applies nude. It does not have any shimmer but has a semi-matte effect. An amazing colour you can use everyday!

The packaging is very sturdy. Its metallic silver with the TBS logo on the top of the cap. The rest of the packaging is shiny and plain. They have written the shade number at the bottom. The funny thing is it does not have any name on the lipstick itself but you can find the names along with numbers on the website.

The lipstick itself is very smooth to apply. It does not tug at your lips rather it glides on without a difficulty.
It does claim to have moisturizing abilities and I would agree to a certain extent. It does keep my lips from drying out.

It claims to be long lasting. Well it didn't last very long on me. It started to fade in the fourth hour but that could be my fault. Most lipsticks don't last long on me :)

It needs to be built to get a good colour pay off. You have to do a couple of swipes for the colour to really show on your lips. A good exfoliation of lips might help though. It appears more pink in swatches but applies kind of nude on lips.

It has a slight vanilla scent to it which is not at all over powering. The scent disappears soon after you apply the lipstick.

Swatch in yellow light

See, nude on the lips

Price & Availability: It is available on The Body Shop UK Website. It costs 10 GBP. Some Facebook pages do provide stuff from TBS's website.

My Final Verdict: Its a decent product for everyday use.You should give these a try
