Fantasy List-Picture Heavy Post

Everyone has a wishlist of some sort and one sees a lot of bloggers posting up their wishlists on their respective blogs. I decided to share my fantasy list with you. This list comprises of stuff I'd buy if I have unlimited money to buy all the luxurious crap in the world :)

So here it goes

First up on my list is this iconic perfume by the house of Chanel. It is now a collector's item. Ladies just have it sitting there on their vanity tables because it symbolizes class.

From perfumes i would move on to jewelry. I have always wanted a huge rock on my finger and I have had this on my mind for so long.

Who hasn't heard of Harry Winston jewels? They are Hollywood's most sought after and this particular watch caught my eye because this is so outrageously out there. It screams jewels and I love it.

I love this ring by Harry Winston too and why wouldn't I? Chuck Bass gave a Harry Winston engagement ring to Blair :P
                    

Coming to the shoes department I just go cray cray over high heels and when its a red sole I cant resist drooling over them. Red soles yess Louboutins!!!

She rocked Blahniks in the early 2000's like no one else. I fell in love with her shoe wardrobe and this iconic pair from SATC the movie is my absolute favourite. This $425 shoes brought Big and Carrie together. Awww Hollywood, how I love thy materialism :P



This Brian Atwood pair is also my favourite though its very difficult to carry these off and they cost GBP 5500+ that's like somewhat the price of a Suzuki Mehran car !!!

After shoes its bags that I love the most. The world's most expensive bag the Birkin is a class of its own. Just a couple of years back you actually had to get on a wait list to get your hands on a Birkin. What makes it so special is that each bag is hand stitched to perfection. You see so many celebs rocking their Birkins and practically worshiping them. Our very own Hina Rabbani Khar landed into controversy over her visit to India when she opted for a Birkin as her arm candy. These cost as much as a car would !!!

After Birkin the bag I would love to have is LV and while I am at it why not a Gold LV.

This Alexander McQueen frock has been my favourite ever since I saw Kate Middleton wearing it. Although the way Kim K carried it almost ruined it for me but this frock is so beautiful not even Kim K could make me let go of it.

I have always had a huge girl crush on Victoria Beckham  I love her designs. She is not your average celebrity designer in fact she is one of the top designers in Hollywood now and that's rare for celebrity designers. I love her dresses and this one is no exception

M.A.C Medium Angled Shading Brush 275

Hey
      I was going through my posts and I realized I haven't reviewed any brushes. So I decided to start with the Holy Grail of makeup M.A.C. This is the only Mac brush I own.
Its called Mac 275 medium angled shading brush.

This brush is medium sized and its shape is a dense rectangle with a fluff angled tip.I use it to highlight my brow bone and contour the sides of my nose. There was a time I even used to contour my cheek bones with it. Now I know the size isn't ideal for cheek bones but what I did was draw a line on the hollows of my cheek bones with it and then blend with my TBS travelling blush brush.

According to Mac you can use it to apply and blend your eye shadows but honestly I have never used it to apply shadow on my eye lids. I only use it on my brow bone. I don't use it to blend my eye shadow either but that does not mean it wont do the job. You can use it to blend because its a very good quality brush.

The size is well suited for my eyes so no problems there. It also works well for my nose.
How I contour my nose with it ?
I use a brown powder to draw a line on both sides of my nose starting near the inner eye corner using this brush and then I blend,blend, blend. Keep on blending till I get the desired shape. Then I highlight the middle of the nose with a shimmer powder.

The brush has a wood handle and metal ferrules. The length is very good so poses no problems with handling while applying eye shadow. The fibers are really smooth.

Now the question would be is it a must have? Well, to be honest No, it isn't. The price is very high for the purpose it serves. I won't say I can't live without it because you can get decent brushes in half the price serving the same purpose.

Personally I don't use any other brush for highlighting my brow bone because its really good at it. You don't have to swipe it many times to get the desired result so it saves time :)

Final Verdict: The brush is really good no arguments there but the price isn't justified. Not a must-have. If you love all-things-Mac then this is for you.

Mac Blush Mocha

Hello Readers!!!
                          Here I am with my first ever product review and the product I have chosen is my absolute favorite MAC Blush!!!!!!!

                         Mac has been a cult favorite,the Holy Grail of makeup and has stood its ground through all these years and who doesn't love a good blush?

      So lets start.

MAC Blush Mocha

Mocha: Matte soft plum-pink

             This blush is called Mocha and on the Mac website its described as a soft plum-pink (Matte). It is indeed a very soft pink and has very smooth texture. The best thing about it : Does not feel powdery or chalky at all. I have seen some matte blushes to feel powdery and crumbly but not this one. It has no fall out in fact on me it glides like a cream. I can't stop praising it. I just love the colour and the texture.
           
However all is not good about it. It is light on pigmentation so you have to apply a couple of times and it does not show very well on medium to dark skin tones. It would look really nice on people with fair and fair to medium tones. You can build it up but to a certain extent only.

Another plus point is it's blending power. It blends very nicely with no harsh lines. So you don't have to worry about that artificial flushed look. It glides on seamlessly. Yayy!!!
As regards to the staying power, over a foundation it should last for 6 hours or so.

Availability and price:

$21 and in Pakistan you can get it for around Rs. 2500

Since you get 6g of product this should last you a long time so no worries there. Get it from Shopaholic page on facebook. Also available on MAC Addict and leading cosmetics stores like Al-Fatah Lahore and Agha's in Khi.

My Final Verdict:
Go for it. You won't regret it!!! But if your skin tone is too dark leave this one and look for more pigmented shades.
